Parent's Peer-to-peer Group

Polestar is pleased to announce it will begin rolling out peer-to-peer support groups in April 2018. The first group will be for the parents of LGBT+ youth. The group will meet the third Sunday of every month from 6:15-7:45pm at a location to be announced.

Peer-to-peer support groups are an opportunity for individuals to share their experiences, learn from others, and build their support network. The Parent's group will be facilitated by members of Polestar's Board of Directors and volunteers who are parents of LGBT+ youth.

Please note, the group's meeting time coincides with the youth group meeting. LGBTeens Up North meets the third Sunday of every month from 6-8pm. Currently, the teen group meets at Blackbird Arts on Barlow Street, Traverse City, MI.
